Outdoor Elements was created to make building a pond easy. The "build your pond" section includes helpful links to more detailed information, so that you can be confident about building your pond right from the start!

Steve's pond is roughly 900 gallons, with a 3000 GPH Big Frog pump and Savio skimmer and waterfall vault as the main components. Doing everything by hand, including the excavation, meant that it took about 40 hours to install.

One of our customers, Bryan, wrote an article for "eHow" on installing his pond - and gave us a very complimentary mention. Thanks Bryan! Click here to read his article.

Send us a photo of your completed project and any comments that you have, and we will be happy to post it on this page!

Facing the wooded section of his backyard, Henry's patio already offered a tranquil and relaxing setting. For an enjoyable evening in the company of friends, what could be better than a water feature - and the "creature comforts" to enjoy it? Henry's pond features a lighted gazebo, and for enjoying those cool evenings in the spring and fall, a flagstone seating area with a fire pit is located close to the waterfall. Landscaping with plants and rocks from his property ties the whole yard together. And a wooden bridge with handrails not only provides access to the patio, but enhances the viewing - and feeding - of his fish!

With a beautiful view of the local woodlands, separated from their yard by a rustic split rail fence, Sheran's back porch was an ideal evening retreat. The addition of a small pond with a terraced waterfall and stream adds to the natural beauty of this rural setting. Notice how the addition of a few red rocks collected from the local terrain enhances the green of the landscaping!

A large back yard is terriffic when you have growing children and pets, but it can be so much more than a playground. How do you enhance "family time"? Turn an under-used section of the yard into the living area of your dreams! And recycling the unwanted timbers and foundation stones from a turn-of-the-century bank barn made this family project the ideal outdoor classroom as well!

Michele's project features two ponds - a small goldfish pond with waterfall provides the ambience for the patio, with an 'S' shaped stream connecting it to a larger koi pond downstream. A gently terraced walkway, and the barn-siding bridge leading to a flagstone seating area, naturally compliment the prolific landscaping that beautifully lines the streambed.
